The fixes we make
The issues we see most often. Most files have at least two of them.
Wrong colour mode
RGB looks fine on screen but turns muddy on paper. We convert to CMYK with proper colour matching.
Low resolution
Below 300 DPI prints pixelated. We upscale where we can or rebuild elements at print resolution.
No bleed or trim marks
You get white edges when the paper is cut. We add the correct bleed area and trim marks.
Wrong file format
PNG and JPG from Canva or web exports are not press-ready. We output proper PDF/X with embedded fonts.
Text in the safe zone
Type too close to the edge risks getting chopped. We move it inside the safe zone.
Logos as raster images
PNG logos go fuzzy at scale. We redraw them as vectors so they stay sharp at any size.
Wonky AI text
AI tools garble text. We strip the bad lettering and set it properly in a design app.
Canva watermarks
Free Canva templates can leave watermarked elements. We strip them and recreate the bits properly.
Word & PowerPoint
Office files do not play well with commercial printers. We rebuild them as press-ready artwork.

Canva is great for ideas but exports are not print-ready by default. Wrong colour mode, low resolution, no bleed. We fix the lot.

Single file, minor adjustments. Bleed, trim marks, CMYK conversion, file format change. Most Canva exports land here.
Standard fix
£45
Resolution rebuild, text reset, logo redraw, multi-page document conversion. AI images and Word docs usually need this level.
Rebuild
from £75
Complex layouts, multiple files merged, bespoke recreation. Quoted per job.
Bundle with a print order and we knock 15% off the fix fee.
