Colours look different when printed

Canva works in RGB (screen colours). Print needs CMYK. We convert everything so your brand colours come out right on paper.

Images are blurry or pixelated

Canva’s free plan exports at 96 DPI — print needs 300 DPI minimum. We’ll upscale where possible or source higher-quality alternatives.

No bleed or trim marks

Without bleed, you get white edges when the paper is cut. We add the correct bleed area and trim marks so your design goes edge-to-edge.

Wrong file format

PNG from Canva won’t cut it for most professional printing. We’ll convert to press-ready PDF with embedded fonts and correct colour profiles.

Text too close to the edge

If text or logos sit too near the trim line, they risk getting cut off. We’ll adjust your safe zone so nothing important gets chopped.

Canva watermarks or template elements

Using a free Canva template? We’ll strip out any watermarked elements and recreate them properly.

Common Questions

Absolutely. Free or paid, we can work with whatever Canva exports. The main difference is resolution — Canva Pro exports at higher DPI, but we can work around the free plan’s limitations.
PDF is better if Canva gives you the option (Pro feature). If you’re on the free plan, PNG is fine — we’ll handle the conversion either way.
Yes. Canva works in RGB (screen colours) and most printers need CMYK. We convert with careful colour matching so your brand colours come out as expected.
